Co-funding and Match funding of grants

Last Updated: Apr 07, 2017 02:54PM BST
Co-funding refers to funders working in partnership.  This can be done in one of three ways:

1) Register as a funder and set up a funding scheme to select matching projects.  From your shortlist in your dashboard you can see which other funders may be interested in funding the same projects.  You can then start a co-funding conversation with other matching funders through your Good Exchange messaging service.

2) Create a joint profile with a pre-arranged funding partner. Set up a funding scheme with a combined pot of money.  Set your matching criteria to select projects that match your joint scheme. Shortlist projects of interest and complete the grant funding process via The Good Exchange.

3) Register as a funder and set up a funding scheme offering grant funding.  Select the option for match funding of grants.  This enables a funder to view grants made by other funders to a project of interest and select whether or not they wish to also give a grant.  Grants made by other funders can be matched in total, by your own amount or not at all.  Please contact support@thegoodexchange for further details if required.
